Meet Wally Chafchak

Wally has called Ward 10 home for 35 years. It’s where he and his wife raised their two children, built their life and remained involved in the community. He founded his business in the ward in 2008, and it continues to operate here today. With more than 35 years in the service industry, Wally knows the value of being available, listening and following through. He is proud of Ward 10 and wants to bring that same commitment to City Hall, working toward better service, honest answers and clear updates for residents.

A St. Clair College graduate who earned a place on both the Dean’s List and Honour Roll, Wally served eight years on the Windsor Police Services Board. He also served on the Wyandotte Town Centre BIA and other community committees.

He was named Community Benefactor of the Year by the African Community Organization of Windsor and recognized by Épelle-Moi Canada Windsor–Essex for supporting bilingualism among local youth.

His community involvement also includes winter coat drives, Red Cross blood drives and the annual food drive at Devonshire Mall, reflecting his longstanding commitment to giving back to the community he calls home.

Wally is seeking election to Windsor City Council with a clear commitment to responsive representation and better municipal service. He believes residents deserve a councillor they can reach, clear explanations of decisions affecting their neighbourhoods and consistent follow-through on their concerns. His goal is to build on Ward 10’s strengths while making City Hall more accessible and accountable to the people it serves.

Good service starts with listening.
